“My child doesn’t want to come anymore.” 🤯
“I don’t want to force them.” 🙈
Here’s the truth…
Every child will want to quit at some point. That’s completely normal.
The question isn’t whether they’ll want to quit—it’s what we, as parents and leaders, do next.
Growth doesn’t happen because children only do things they feel like doing.
Growth happens when they learn to push through difficult days, overcome challenges, and discover that they can achieve more than they thought possible.
If your child tells you they don’t want to come to class, please don’t make that decision alone. Come and speak to Natalie or Master Carl first.
Nine times out of ten - we can help 😁
Sometimes it’s a confidence issue.
Sometimes they’ve had a bad day.
Sometimes they’re feeling frustrated or stuck.
Whatever the reason - we’d much rather work through it together than see a child miss out on all the incredible benefits they’re building.
Think about adults…
How many people quit the gym because motivation disappears?
How many give up on goals because life gets busy?
Imagine if someone had encouraged us to keep showing up instead of letting us quit. What would that lol like 🤔💭
Children need that guidance.
If your child genuinely isn’t enjoying class or seems disengaged, we’ll always let you know so we can work together to find the root cause and help them rediscover their confidence and enjoyment.
In 20+ years teaching we have had to talk to 3 maybe 4 parents. Once on the mat they love it. 🤩
Now imagine this…🤔💭
If adults were parented the way we parent children when it comes to their physical and mental health…
Would we be healthier, happier, and better off❓🤔
Sometimes the greatest lesson we can teach our children isn’t how to win—it’s how to ke going when they feel like giving up. 💛

💥LAST NIGHT 🧍♂️DADS ON PADS 👏
WAS A COMPLETE BLAST 💥
Fathers got to train alongside their children, and it was a pleasure to witness the fun😂excitement 🥳 and special bond shared between father and son 🤩
The smiles - encouragement and teamwork made it a truly memorable experience.
A mom did sneak on 😆 and a grandad 🤘
A forgetful dad with jeans on who apparently “forgot it was tonight “ 🤣🤣 was able to join on the mats - we didn’t let this dadda off - he throughly enjoyed himself with his son 😊👍
We are well proud of all the dads (mom & grandad) who had the courage to step on the mats last night! 🙅♂️
The real winners are the children, blessed to have such amazing dads❗️❗️
Thank you for your love, support, and for making these moments so special. ❤️ We love our dads massively and appreciate you MASSIVELY 🙏🤩👏🤘🥳

The full image was to horrific 😱
A terrible violent attack
happened to a 19-year-old lad.
April 2026
He was attacked while making his way home from work at around 12:00 a.m. on a Saturday night in Liverpool city centre. 😔
Wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
The poor lad was taken by surprise with what sounds like a sucker punch. He’d just finished a 12 hour shift…….
⚠️Situation awareness is massively important ⚠️
Me age 19
I did the same
I use to work as a barman in Liverpool City Center
the same street as this young man.
* I have done the same walk many of time as this poor young man did………
To be ready for an attack has to be on the forefront of the mind.
It’s dark
it’s late
people are full of alcohol ,
drugs and bad intentions.
Being conscious of this could save people in the future.
A handful of basic tips
for anyone working late in city Center or any location!
👇
Sounds obvious in the cold light of day but sometimes we run on a subconscious level - creatures of habit so we miss the sense of danger this world can be 😔
A handful of basic tips
for anyone working late in city Center or any location!
👇
👍Get an Uber (£10-£15 could prevent)
👍Get a lift from outside the venue
👍Share a car
👍Walk with a college
👍Head up both hands free
👍Scan /read all views and all people
👍Literally be ready for an attack
👍 Gang of males ahead - cross over the road or go a different route.
Reminder
It’s a Saturday night in a busy city.
As long as we are prepared and ready, we can prevent problems 9 times out of 10.
For the poor kid above - this may of helped him it may not of.
Increasing our chances of not being a victim of violence is the number 1 priority here.
Let’s hope the perpetrator hands himself in or the police catch him. 🤞
