All 1-1 lessons are full for this year so l’m now doing group lessons to support as many students as possible who want to work hard and try their best to improve their maths gcse grade this summer.

GCSE Exam Paper Practise: Feb 10th and 17th at 7pm. Online so easy to access. 55 minutes of focussed work without any pressure. Suitable for Y11 (Foundation focus) and all Y10/9 students. Also good for Y11 aiming for grade 6/7.

GCSE online small group class resumes this week, Tuesday 7pm. Each week we cover a topic essential for Maths GCSE exams. Suitable for Y10 students and great revision time for Y11 students preparing for GCSE in May.

Just to say I cannot take on any more new students at the moment because I am already fully booked for this Autumn term. I have a small waiting list but will post again if anything comes available. Enquiries always welcome - I am just unable to book anyone new in at the moment.

I have not posted for a while as it has been really busy, so to reintroduce myself to anyone newly looking for a maths tutor:
My name is Mandalin Hadwin, I grew up and went to school in Liverpool.
I graduated from Warwick University with a degree in Pure Maths (2:1), before then qualifying as a teacher with a PGCE from Homerton College, Cambridge.
I taught GCSE and A Level Mathematics at Carmel Sixth Form College for 10 years, before teaching at Winstanley Sixth Form College for 12 years where I was also Head of the Maths Department for many of those.
I have worked for over 10 years as an AQA examiner marking A Level Maths Papers.
I now have my own tutoring business based in Liverpool 12. I tutor students of all abilities (mainly from year 10 up) for GCSE, A Level, and Y1 A Level Further Maths. I have also worked with adults returning to their maths studies.
During this summer I am teaching a reduced schedule, but if you are wanting to start in September you have the option to try a lesson over the summer to see how it suits you. Full lessons will resume from the end of August/start of September with regular lesson times being Sunday to Thursday evenings 4pm to 9pm. I am already quite full for September 2023 but I still have 7/8 spaces available for new students.
Lessons are at my home in L12 or online via zoom. Since starting the business I have taught students from all areas of Liverpool, and all over the country.

I only have 2 times left that are available at the moment, but you can try a single trial lesson to see if it suits you. Spaces will also be available over the half term and 2 x 7pm slots will become available after half term. Tuition is for year 10 and above: GCSE and A Level Maths - all exam boards. Lessons can be online or in person at my home in West Derby, Liverpool 12.
