In our Home Ed session, we took bushcraft up a level… we crafted and lit our own handmade torches using nothing but natural materials and the knowledge they’ve been building over the weeks.

From spark to flame -watching their confidence grow is why we do what we do.

Today the kids learned Tri-Survival First Aid in the woods.

Giz walked them through real-life emergency scenarios – checking for danger in the area, safe positioning to checking for breathing – using practical demos, out on the forest floor, under the tarp, with the fire burning beside us.

No classroom.
No whiteboard.
Just real learning in nature’s classroom.

The kids fully engaged, asked brilliant questions, and even took turns helping in the scenario. Their confidence grows every week - and seeing them step up when faced with a “casualty” was incredible.

This is what Tri-Survival is about:
