Devastated to hear the horrific news about Sir David Amess. I met him on many occasions. A great supporter of Catholic education. A loving father and son. A fantastic constituency MP. An East End boy that has done very well.

Noor Inayat Khan, a Muslim of Indian heritage was a British spy in WWII. She was sent into France to work with the Resistance. Captured and sent to Dachau, she was tortured, beaten and executed in 1944.

In 1966 he defeated the colour bar in Euston station and overturned racist recruit in the railway.
A little known hero of British history.

October is Black History Month and this year the focus is on ‘Proud To Be”. Celebrate the history and look to the future.

Today is a feast in England and a Solemnity in Walsingham! We will be attending midday Mass at the Shrine, enjoying a celebration picnic in the grounds and Solemn Vespers also at the Shrine.

We'll light a candle for your intentions at the Shrine today. Please also pray for our community on this our patronal feast day! 😊❤️🙏💐

Fantastic evening tonight.
Lots of parents attended and went away very happy. They were excited and pleased to see what is going on in St Edmund Arrowsmith. All our student helpers were absolutely superb.
