Two years today πŸ’›

Today marks two years since I started running baby massage courses at Beyond Midwives.
It's hard to believe how quickly those two years have gone. Since that very first course, I've met so many amazing families and had the privilege of supporting parents during those precious early months with their babies.

One of my favourite things about running courses is watching mums arrive not knowing anyone else in the room and leave during week 5 having shared stories, experiences, and laughs and cries with others who are navigating the same stage of life.

I've listened to countless conversations about feeding, sleep, milestones, returning to work, family life, and everything in between. It's a real privilege to hold space for parents during such a huge transition in their lives.

What I never expected when I started was the community that would grow from these courses.

I've seen so many mums exchange numbers, arrange coffee dates, and continue supporting one another long after the course has ended. Some have even gone on to attend each other’s weddings, christenings, and birthday parties, and enjoy nights out and play dates together. Seeing those friendships grow has been one of the most special parts of all of this.

I'm so grateful to Maria, Nadia, and the team at Beyond Midwives for welcoming me into such a lovely space and supporting me over the last two years. Thank you ❀️

Four and a half years ago, when I started my own business, teaching baby massage, I hoped the courses would give mums a safe space to slow down, bond with their babies, and feel less alone during the chaos of motherhood, which can often feel isolating. What I didn’t realise was just how much connection and community they would bring to me too.

A special thank you to Erica for putting herself out there and sharing her baby massage experience on this video.

Thank you to everyone who has ever joined me at a course at Beyond Midwives. It really is a very space place for so many of us 🀍

And that's why so many parents choose to come back for another baby massage course.

They value the calm, the connection, and having dedicated time each week to focus on their baby and themselves.

In a world that can feel so busy, that time together is something worth holding onto.

One of the questions I've been asked a lot recently is....

"Can I book onto the course again?"

This month, almost half of one of my courses is made up of mums who have already completed baby massage before!

In fact, three mums had only just finished their previous course and signed straight back up again πŸ₯Ή

Baby massage is about so much more than learning the strokes. It's about connection, dedicated time together, and having a space to slow down with your baby each week and make new friends.

So yes, you can absolutely come back, and many families do πŸ’›

Touch Attach Grow Baby Massage Timetable

Whether you're looking to learn baby massage for the first time or simply want a calm, welcoming space to spend quality time with your baby, I'd love to welcome you along.

My IAIM-accredited baby massage courses are baby-led, supportive and designed to help parents feel calmer, more connected and more confident during the early months of parenthood.

Alongside learning a full baby massage routine, you'll have the opportunity to meet other local parents, share experiences and enjoy some dedicated one-to-one time with your baby.

Many parents tell me their weekly session becomes a highlight of their week, and lots choose to return for another course once their first one has finished.

When people think about baby massage, they often focus on the benefits for babies.

But baby massage can be just as valuable for parents and primary caregivers too.

In a world that often feels busy and overwhelming, baby massage offers something simple but powerful – time to slow down, tune in and be fully present with your baby.

Many parents tell me that their weekly baby massage session becomes a real highlight of their week. A chance to get out of the house, meet other parents, share experiences and enjoy some dedicated one-to-one time with their baby.

One of the loveliest things is seeing parents come back again after their first course has finished. Many choose to book onto another course because they've enjoyed it so much and have got so much from it themselves too. The friendships, conversations, support and sense of connection often become just as important as learning the massage techniques.

Some of the benefits parents and caregivers may experience include:

β–ͺ️ Increased confidence in handling and understanding their baby
β–ͺ️ Improved bonding and connection
β–ͺ️ Opportunities to meet and connect with other parents
β–ͺ️ A calmer, more relaxed atmosphere for both parent and baby
β–ͺ️ Learning gentle techniques that can be continued at home
β–ͺ️ Dedicated one-to-one time together

Baby massage is about so much more than learning a routine. It's about creating space to slow down, connect and enjoy being together during a season of life that can pass by so quickly.

Have you ever tried baby massage with your little one?
