We have additional furniture in school, now we have moved into our new classrooms. They are free to a good home. If you would like anything, please take from the school carpark.

Dear Families,
The Department of Education have confirmed that Monday 19th September will be a Bank Holiday to mark Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral.
All schools will be closed for the Bank Holiday.
This means that The Beacon CE Primary will be closed on Monday 19th September and will reopen on Tuesday 20th September at normal time.

We are extremely saddened to hear Queen Elizabeth II, the UK’s longest-serving monarch and the head of our Church of England has died aged 96. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time. Thank you for your commitment, love and service and may you rest in peace 🕊

Keep walking to school or 'park and stride' as much as you can. We only have a few days left until the March Walk to School badges get handed out!

Reminder for tomorrow - La Journée de la Francophonie

Children are invited to come in dressed to represent their allocated country, for example, in the colours of the flag, with a flag drawn on their top etc.

At break, children will have a sample of some French things -pain au chocolat, brioche and some French 'sirop' (juice).

We can't wait to see you dressed up!
