Looking after yourself (self care) is important at the best of times. During the global crisis we are in self care has never been so important. As much as you can try and keep up your positive daily rituals. Make time for yourself.
A couple of tips,
🙇🏼‍♀️ Try meditating for 5 minutes in the morning
🙏🏻 Each morning say 3 things you are grateful for
🧘🏼 Try yoga for 5 - 15 minutes (yoga by Adrienne on you tube is a good place to start)
🌿 Go for a walk
📱 Have a break from social media
👩‍👧If you are a mum talk to your kids about what you love about yourself and what they love about themselves
🎼 Play happy music!
💟 Download the headspace app and go to the “weathering the storm” section

I love recommending this amazing book to other parents. Especially in these dark times. It can be unsettling for children listening to their parents talk about isolation / lock down.
This book gives children tools around how to use crystals, meditate and talk about their feelings ❤️
