Our cat family has grown again!

Since yesterday, even more workshop cats have arrived, so here is an updated collage.

What I love most is that every drawing is different.

Different artists.
Different experience levels.
Different materials.
Different styles.

Yet every artist moved forward.

Some learned a new technique. Some gained confidence. Some created one of their strongest drawings yet.

That is what happens when artists are given clear guidance, support, and the opportunity to learn alongside others.

If your cat isn't here yet, I'd love to see it. Share it in the comments below!

And if you enjoyed the workshop and are wondering what comes next, the doors to Colour Pencil School are still open today.

We continue building skills, confidence, and independence through weekly live sessions, tutorials, feedback opportunities, and a welcoming community of artists.

Doors close tonight.

"Why do some artists seem to progress faster than others?"

Talent is rarely the answer.

More often, it comes down to having the right guidance, practising the right things, and staying motivated long enough to keep going.

That is the environment we have worked hard to create inside Colour Pencil School. A place where artists can continue learning, growing, and building confidence without feeling like they have to figure everything out alone.

Try our affordable subscription fee, and note that with our 14-day cooling-off period, you can explore everything completely risk-free.

Woohoo! Look at all these kitties that emerged from our workshop!

Aren't they brilliant?

I know there are still some workshop cats hiding out there. If yours isn't in the collage, share it below so we can all enjoy it!

Every one of these portraits was created by someone who showed up, picked up their pencils, and followed along step by step. Some were complete beginners, some had more experience, but each drawing reflects the artist behind it.

One of my favourite things about teaching is seeing how a room full of people can start with the same reference photo and end up creating something uniquely their own.

Thank you to everyone who joined me over the weekend, shared your artwork, asked questions, encouraged one another, and made the workshop such a wonderful experience.

Seeing this collage reminds me why I love teaching coloured pencil so much. It's not really about any one subject or project. It's about learning new skills, building confidence, and discovering what you're capable of creating when you have the right guidance and support.

And for those who are wondering what comes next, the doors to Colour Pencil School are currently open.

If you enjoyed the workshop and would like to continue your coloured pencil journey with regular lessons, live sessions, feedback, and a friendly community of fellow artists, I would love to welcome you inside.
