We are so proud of our French Intermediate class who have just completed their first book on the past tense, talking about what they got up to each week.

We start again in September with a second book based on the True or False game, where learners will have to guess if others in the class are telling the truth or making up slightly more exciting lives that they actually lead.

If you are interested in brushing up on your French with a native speaker, we meet twice a term on Tuesday nights at 18:00 in Formby at the start and end of term and do the other 8 lessons online; erfect for jet-setters who can join from anywhere or home-bods who like to learn from their sofa.

☀️ It's definitely beach weather in Formby... perhaps even a little too much! Before my lesson last week I took the opportunity to stretch my legs and enjoy a walk through the dunes.
One of the things I love about teaching languages is that no two days are ever the same. Sometimes it's coffee before a lesson at Francini Café origen de Colombia, sometimes it's a stroll along one of the UK's most beautiful beaches, and then it's back to helping adults build the confidence to speak Spanish, French or Portuguese.
Learning a language isn't just about grammar and vocabulary. It's about enjoying life, discovering new places, meeting new people, and opening new doors.
