Tonight .bartsprimary was all about the ribbons! We took our balance and coordination skills and added gymnastics ribbons into our work.

The children enjoyed exploring different ways the ribbons can move and the various shapes and patterns they create.

What a beautiful session full of creativity and artistic gymnastic flare!

💛🏐| Dodgeball Friday |🏐💚

What an end to a fab week! These kids absolutely worked their socks off in tonight’s session .bartsprimary

We played a firm favourite ‘submarines’ followed by ‘protect the castle’ - our adapted version of dodgeball.

Well done to all, especially our upper juniors for setting a great example of sportsmanship and being such positive role models to our younger players!

🧡| Fun at our Clubs |💚

There was lots of fun had at This Girl Can and Dodgeball Club this week! It’s so great to see the children enjoying themselves, working together and learning new skills.

It’s especially wonderful to see the children coming together from across a range of year groups to enjoy being active.

Happy weekend everyone!

Today .bartsprimary we had lots of fun creating autumnal art using chalk.

The children began by carefully using scissors to create their leaf shapes. Following this, they traced an outline with chalk around their leaf. They then used their fingers to blend the chalk outwards which created a firework effect. Finally, the leaf was lifted from their page to reveal a beautiful, colourful leaf outline.

Excellent work by all - well done everyone!

Great fun was had tonight .bartsprimary in our This Girl Can session.

The girls had to work together through a series of team challenges! It was great to watch them problem solve, communicate and work together.

Amazing work tonight .bartsprimary 🙌

Today we focused on developing our flexibility, working mainly on splits and bridges.

The children were supported through stages of progression for each skill and given time to practise on our floor area before adapting to small apparatus for those who were ready.

Great to see their hard work paying off! Well done everyone!
