It was gemstones galore tonight as we created our very own personalised photo frames 💎

🏐| Dodgeball Club |🏐

Tonight we decided to mix things up a little!

We fused together our much loved dodgeball with another popular game, bench ball. It was great to see how the children adapted to this new game and especially good to see them thinking more defensively.

Great work everyone!

P.s. There is no session next Friday - this was a 5 week block. 👍🏻

👀| Arts & Crafts Club |👀

I couldn’t resist jumping on this latest creative drawing trend ‘Whose eyes are these?’

The children were given a blank page with only a pair of eyes to work with. They had to use their imagination and drawing skills to turn these eyes into something interesting.

I’m sure you will all agree they have all done brilliantly!

✏️| SATS Week |✏️

What a privilege it was this morning to be able to help this amazing group of year 6 children prepare for today’s SATS.

This can be a stressful week for many children and it is so important that we help them to feel positive, confident and most importantly that they are enough.

Today we began with our ‘Worry Wall’ to begin the process of letting go of worries that we were carrying.

Following this we all took part in a full body stretch to help get rid of any physical tension we may be carrying.

Next, we listened to a guided meditation to visualise letting go of our worries and negative thoughts.

Finallly, the children enjoyed writing positive messages to each other on our ‘Grattitude Graffiti Wall.’

Hopefully everybody left feeling more confident, motivated and ready to take on the day!

Today we worked on improving our floor skills. The children worked really hard on their box splits, bridges and forward rolls.

We talked about the importance of correct technique and that practice makes perfect!

Excellent work as always by all 🙌🏻

The children are really progressing well with their skills and match play. Some fantastic shots made and amazing teamwork.

Aaaaaand relax…🧘‍♀️

Tonight we enjoyed a lovely, relaxing Yoga based session. The girls took part in a short Yoga flow and then spent time exploring different Yoga poses with a partner.

It was great to see them all working together to create different poses.

Well done girls!

What great fun we all had today 🙌🏻

We moved out of the classroom to have a go a a BIG outdoor art project!

The children had a great time using chalk to create different patterns and shapes, each in their own section of our collaborative piece.
