Hello Everybody 👋
This is Mrs Elf who came to visit the children in Pre-School on Tuesday during the Christmas party!! 🥳🎈🎉 🎅🏻
Mrs Elf was sent by Father Christmas in the North Pole to give out selection boxes to the good Boys and Girls. The Children spoke to Mrs Elf and told her what they would like for Christmas.
Mrs Elf also took part at the Christmas Disco dancing and singing with the children to Christmas songs before she had to leave to fly back to the North Pole!

This week we have been very privileged to have been in receipt of a number of delicious meals from a Liverpool catering company called Relish, who are helping the local communities, nursing homes, homeless shelters and vulnerable by providing them with meals. Little Looks Pre-school have joined with Everton In The Community and we have had our first delivery. We have enough for one for each child in the nursery and the choices we have are as follows:
- Sausage and Mash with gravy (10 available)
- Chicken and Cashew Nut curry with Rice (2 available)
- Thai Green Chicken Curry with Rice (7 available)
These meals have been delivered having been frozen so are in our freezer. If any parents would like to request one for their child please let nursery staff know. You will also be provided with some information on Relish, who they are and what they do.

Can we remind all parents, if your child has a cough, a temperature or loss of taste or smell then they are not to be bought into nursery as unfortunately they will be sent home. We know this is an inconvenience, not only for you but for us as well as we do not want to send the children home, they have missed so much education as it is. However, we are following national guidelines and if a child has a temperature, loss of smell or taste or a new continuous cough (three or more coughing episodes within 24 hours) then they are to isolate and get a test. If a child comes into nursery displaying any of these symptoms (all three symptoms do not need to be present together-you may only have one symptom) then they will be sent home and you will need to isolate the child for 10days and the rest of the household for 14days. If you get a negative test, once nursery are provided with proof of these results, as long as the child is well within themselves then they are fine to return back to nursery. It is in everybody's interests to safeguard our children, parents and carers, staff and extended families during this pandemic.
Nearest Test centres are :
-Stanley Park (appointment needed) Stanley Park Car Park
-Walton Hall Park, Walton Hall Ave (appointment needed)
-Bootle Town Hall, Oriel Road, Bootle (appointment needed)
All are open until 8pm
This Friday 13th we are inviting all children to come to nursery with an accessory to celebrate Children in Need. We are not asking you to go out and purchase mechanise but if the children have a yellow t-shirt, yellow headband/bobbles or if they already have Children in Need t-shirts/PJs etc then they are welcome to come into nursery wearing them.
