Happy Monday!!!

Here with your pregnancy safe exercise of the week, This time with a core focus.

Strengthening your core when pregnant helps to support your pelvic organs as your baby grows and to alleviate pressure on the back. A strong core can also help with the physical demands of labor.

Be selective with chosen core work We do not recommend sit ups or anything that creates β€˜Coning’ of the stomach. These are nice light movements that give just enough to the pregnant tum. ( Watch your balance)

Your Monday afternoon pregnancy safe and all round great exercise. The Bulgarian lunge

Back foot is elevated and if you are pregnant, remember your balance won’t be what you are used too. So set yourself up somewhere where you have something to hold on too

This is also just a great leg and bum exercise. If not pregnant add some dumbbells and feel the burn

Today is blue Monday
( not to depress you all πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ) just here with some tips to manage the day.

* Focus on the positives- you may be feeling abit down but look around you and think of 3 things you are thankful for.
* If you are feeling down, just remember this feeling will pass- it is not permanent
*Do something that makes you smile -Watch a film with the kids, go the gym, have a glass of wine. Whatever it is, smile and enjoy it.

If the low feeling has lasted a long time. Please speak to someone. You are not alone πŸ’™
