You may have notice that Scholastic pop up shop arrived Monday 1st June. Books are purchased using the QR code. Scan the code search Kristaval Day Care and then scan the book. Books included are on the top two shelves and on the display boxes. Please join us in support of the Government’s National Year of Reading by purchasing a book for you and your child to enjoy. Next week is Infant Mental Health Awareness week. We have found a parent friendly website below that shares the important of making the little moments count to support your child!

Big Little Moments Building young brains with the Big Little Moments Babies and toddlers are growing and learning every day and the little moments you share can make a big difference. From morning time to bedtime, waiting for the bus to playing together, every moment is a chance to help build a child’s brain.

This month we are focusing on tooth brushing. Each child will be given a tooth brush to use at home. We welcome pictures sent via parent zone 😊

Pride month! - This month we are celebrating LOVE and how love is love! We will also enjoy a rainbow party filled with dancing and treats on 17.6.25

Global parent day 1.6.26- Today we are welcoming parents to join us for a stay and play as we celebrate you!! The time slot is 3pm-4pm please let a member of your child’s room know.

World Environment Day 5.6.26- Today the children will be learning about things we can do to support our environment such as the importance of recycling.

FIFA World cup 11.6.26- The children will be enjoying the world cup this month by taking part in football tournaments in the local park and even watching some of the games!

Farther days crafts W.C 15.6.26- This week the children will be creating masterpieces to share with their fathers, grandparents, uncles and brothers.

Make some music day 22.6.26- Today we will be making as much noise as we can using various instruments and making our own with recycled materials.

National writing day 24.6.26- Today we will be exploring writing in various ways wither that be using a traditional pencil or a stick in the sand!

Tots have enjoyed their weekly forest school session this morning 🌲🌷

Preschool have had a busy morning today designing their own ice-creams using half a paper plate, glue, feathers, coloured paper and rice paper!
