“My work demonstrates the impact of dedicated research, collaboration, and community engagement in addressing complex public health challenges. It continues to inform and improve su***de prevention strategies, offering hope and support to those in crisis.”
To mark ***dePreventionDay we are highlighting the amazing work Professor Pooja Saini is doing as Honorary Su***de Prevention Research Lead for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.
She is working on prevention and early intervention to reduce su***de rates, improve support for people who have self-harmed and for people bereaved by su***de.
Today, she is presenting at the World Su***de Prevention Day Conference hosted by Liverpool John Moores University in collaboration with M-RIC, Liverpool City Council, Su***de Prevention Partnership Cheshire and Merseyside and Champs Public Health Collaborative.
