The Littlehampton Academy Sixth Form - official The Littlehampton Academy College Official Page The College at The Littlehampton Academy is a thriving community and a great place to study.

The College offers 29 Level 3 courses and 6 at Level 2. These are spread across the academic areas – Mathematics, English, Science, Human Movement and Performing Arts, Humanities and Business & Enterprise – everything from Accounting to Art and PE to Physics. Students, at all levels, make good progress in Years 12 and 13. With approximately 200 students, the College is small enough to be friendly,

compact and easily manageable and yet large enough to have all the facilities of a thriving, modern day sixth form college. The College has a close-knit, friendly atmosphere, enabling students to get to know each other quickly. Students are encouraged to become active members of our community linking with local businesses, colleges and universities and partnership schools. We run regular specialist conferences such as ‘One World’ – a day of hands-on workshops dealing with environmental and social issues and ‘Suited & Booted’ – a self awareness day, all of which help to offer a taste of the choices, experiences and responsibilities encompassing adult life.

The Academy will re-open to students on Wednesday 8 January. Only a very limited range of food will be available - please provide your child with a packed lunch if at all possible. Students entitled to free school meals will be catered for.

Due to continuing problems with the heating system the Academy will remain closed to students on Tuesday 7 January. We expect to re-open on Wednesday 8 January.

Due to a major power failure the Academy is closed on Monday 6 January. All should return on Tuesday unless otherwise advised.

Please do not attempt to call the Academy as the phone lines are down. The TLA website is also down at the moment.
