Does anyone have any plain (ideally white) bed sheets sutting in an airing cupboard they no longer use? 🙂
We are wanting some more for our large scale painting!

A beautiful parting gift from one of our lovely school leavers this year. We now have a personalised stamp to create stickers for our ‘lending library’ books. How fabulous! 😍

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY to us! The Friendly Fish opened its doors 8 years ago today- Absolute madness!
We are so grateful to each and everyone of our families, past and present that continue to grow our FF family and of course our incredible staff team that make the Nursery what it is.
On a personal note I am so grateful for the opening of the Friendly Fish that has given me all the opportunities that it has. From having somewhere I felt so happy bringing both my own children too to moving through all the roles up to Manager.

This week we will be working towards revamping our bug hotel as part of our eco school and sustainability. If anyone is able to provide any of the following items to us, the children would be most grateful (some are obviously a little hard to find in the current season but you may have some previous collections laying around) 😃
🍃 chunky bamboo canes
🍃 dead wood (the more weathered the better!)
🍃 pine cones
🍃 corrugated cardboard
🍃 broken roof tiles/bricks with holes
🍃 cardboard tubes

So grateful to our wonderful team for staying for an hour and a half’s training this evening on top of their 10 hour working day to enhance their learning around communication and how we can best support all the children in our care. Building on those essential language and development skills that help shape children’s futures. ♥️
