SPORTS DAY CANCELLED TOMORROW

It’s with a heavy heart that after the third rearrangement the weather forecast has put pay to sports day tomorrow. We are gutted. Normal school day / uniform.

To all our year 7 students, You have been invited along with local primary schools, to create a pollution awareness poster for a chance to have it displayed on official boards along the south east coast by Southern Water. The artwork can be any size, style, and made from any materials of your choice. Let your creativity soar and have fun with this project! The deadline for submissions is June 6th. Please remember to write your full name and class code on the back of your artwork and submit it to your art teachers or Mrs. Sheldon.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to the incredible Ms White tomorrow. She has been a rock at the heart of pastoral care in year 7. Her colleagues and the students in Year 7 will miss her immensely. We wish her all the best as she moves onto a new challenge and ask all parents/carers to 'give a like for Ms White!'

Congratulations to our Rounders and Cricket teams for playing their first matches this week. Although results didn’t go their way, both Mr Coppard and Mrs Fairhurust have commended them on their excellent attitudes and perseverance. They were a credit to the Academy. Onwards and upwards!
