Story time is coming to Rochdale Town Hall! 📚✨

Join us on the first Monday of every month from 5 October 2026 to 1 March 2027 for Rochdale Libraries Story Time at Rochdale Town Hall. Enjoy a fun-filled hour of stories, songs, games and activities in our cosy reading corner.

🗓️ First Monday of the month
🕚 11am to 12pm
👶 Perfect for pre-school children and their grown-ups
🎟️ £2 per child (accompanying adults go free)

As part of the National Year of Reading 2026, each session explores a different classic picture book or storysack.

Our babies have been getting creative with some good old-fashioned potato printing!

They explored the texture, shape and feel of the potatoes, dipped them into paint and experimented with making marks on paper.

Our garden turned into a mini bug-hunting adventure! 🐜🐌🕷️

The children explored our outdoor spaces, looking carefully under leaves, around plants and in hidden corners to see what they could discover. 🌱
