What a lovely week we've had exploring the story of The Three Little Pigs. The children have enjoyed role-playing the story, creating crafts, building their own houses from sticks, and exploring the small world and sensory activities.

Along the way, we've been counting, retelling the story and talking about why the brick house was the strongest. Everyone has really enjoyed joining in with this classic tale! ❤️

Last week we explored different sounds! We played a game of 'Guess the Sound' and sorted them into loud and quiet noises. We looked at lots of musical instruments, some of which the children had not seen before. We had lots of fun playing them during our singing session! They also made their own percussion instruments, which they were excited to take home and share with their families ❤️

During our library session this week, we've had lots of fun with numbers. The children particularly enjoy our 'Maths Bus' game and showcased fantastic turn taking skills. We explored counting, comparing quantities, recognising patterns and sequences. 🧮

"Run run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!"

The children have enjoyed creating their own gingerbread men out of dough and they've been counting, matching and sequencing. They've decorated biscuits and listened to stories with their friends ❤️

What an amazing week with my little ones and school children! We've had a fun-filled week starting with a 'spooky' party and getting to meet and learn about lots different creatures! We've played party games with our friends, explored the different textures in the sensory trays, decorated biscuits, read stories together, visited the soft play centre and designed our own pumpkins with acrylic paint pens to take home! 👻🎃
