That's a wrap! ❤️

Finally home and reflecting on what's been an incredible weekend. I have learnt so so much and have been truly inspired by the whole experience 🥰

Allan, Tabby Kerwin & Iwan have been amazing, sharing their knowledge and invaluable experience. Anja & Kirsten have ran the tightest ship, with Lisa from Bake N Butty providing the most delicious food to keep us all fuelled 😋

It's been brilliant to complete the course with such a wonderful group of people. Quite a few of us struggled at times but we all picked each other up and cracked on with it! 👏

Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band are such a lovely lot, and incredibly talented. It's been an honour to stand in front of a band of that standard, and yes I do finally feel pride now, Tabby! 🥹

It was lovely surprise to have a little team of supporters there today, so thank you to Sue, Kate, Rachel, Stephanie and momma for making the journey over to see the concert 🎵

I can't wait to get back to my rehearsals and really move forward with Bloom Music Community CIC and our vision 💜

Day 1 complete! 👏

Wow, my brain is overflowing simply with information. Everyone on the course is lovely and encouraging, and everything is so well organised ❤️ Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band sounded incredible in rehearsal tonight, made me miss playing 🥺

What a fab day! 🤩 Ready for day 2 tomorrow...

So proud of our Whit Friday team! 💜

The most amazing weekend for Bloom Music Community CIC 💜

I am so incredibly proud of everyone who's performed and competed this weekend. For the brass bands, it was our first time at Whit Friday and then competiting at a march contest, and these guys smashed it 👏 I am so proud of our younger members and our other members who'd never marched before!

In between all that, I led the choirs at Littleborough's Food & Drink Festival, and they sounded brilliant 😍

I knew it was going to be a long and tiring weekend, but I didn't know it was going to pan out quite as it did 🙄 so thank you to all those who looked out for me! I don't know where I'd be without you 🫶
