Today's question is all about circles and it's Q2 from the IAL 2025 P2 exam.

Part a is quite standard but part b you may have to think a little bit more abo

Today we are expanding - binomially expanding that is. This is a common topic in AS maths that you have to be secure with because it gets harder at A2 level! The full video can be found on my Youtube channel.

Proof by contradiction can be a tricky subject for many students, it's certainly the hardest of the four proofs that you encounter at A level.

The first step is always in assuming the opposite of what it stated in the question. Work forwards in any manner, as long as it's mathematically correct, and try to get to a statement that doesn't make sense - a contradiction!

My favourite type of maths to teach is probably A level further maths but I do have a few 11+ students which has prompted me to create worksheets.

This exam question is all about volumes of revolutions. You might even say it's revolutionary!

I'm feeling silly after creating a video about vectors!

Can you find the vector BA? Maybe you can, but I bet you can't find the vector EasyJet!

Today's video is from the IAL June 2025 P4 Q6 about vectors. It used a technique that's not in the 'normal' Edexcel exam board so only watch this if you're studying the IAL board (or further maths!)

Full video solution is available on Youtube.

I love creating questions and love it even more when the answers come out nicely (by coincidence)!

Nothing quite beats some good old fashioned pen and paper work!

I hope to be able to reuse these questions for many years to come.

Do you like making new questions for students?

5 levels of static rigid bodies. A common mechanics topic that you've got to know!

I've broken this topic into 5 levels finishing off with an A* level question that really tests you in not just mechanics but also pure maths (how fun!).

Feel free to attempt the questions and put your answers in the comments.

If you find any mistakes, then whoops! Let me know and I'll try to correct it.

I do love integration questions. I've just created a video about the integration question on the IAL June 2025 P4 and here are two more questions to practise if you've couldn't get it the first time around.

I try to make the first question similar to the original so you can test your skills. The second question is a stretch question and might be a little tricky. Let me know how you get on and post your answers in the comments to check!
