🎒 WELCOME BACK TO MYTHAM! 🎒

We are looking forward to welcoming all our children and families back to school on Wednesday 2nd September at 8.40am.

Please read our welcome back flyer, which contains important information about the start and end of the school day, collection arrangements, PE days, lunch boxes and uniform expectations.

Please note that the internal links within the flyer will not work when viewed on Facebook. Families should refer to the copy sent by email to access these links, including the form for Year 5 and 6 children who will be walking home.

What a very busy last day of forest school it has been!!!
We started our session off with a visitor 🐿️ explored creating cake pops and having a muddy make over before enjoying some hot dogs for dinner.
This afternoon we used our large branches to make a 'tool zone' and used a palm drill to create either a wooden medallion or spinner; with some of our older pupils supporting the younger pupils. Then finished off with a slippery slope before heading back to school for an ice pop

At forest school today we have enjoyed creating our own dens to keep us cool in the forest. We enjoyed some hot dogs for dinner.
In the afternoon we were set a challenge to create a boat for our people to safely cross the 'lake' before we took turns long our slippery slope and got ever so slightly wet 💦

At forest school today we have enjoyed creating some delicious drinks in our mud kitchen.🥤☕🥛Digging a hole - to China!
After lunch it was time for a scavenger hunt, the children each chose a tile and had to find the matching items in the wood,. somethings were easier to find than others!

Today in forest school we have had a stock up in our potion station, the elves have found some froggy friends.
For lunch we have enjoyed baked potatoes and cooked some starburst on the fire 🔥
This afternoon we enjoyed creating some 'woodland blessings' using different strips of fabric and a stick from the woodland.

Today we have enjoyed creating potions in our mud kitchen and had a go at creating a trampoline - it was only 3 sticks for a 5 minute bounce 🪵

Today we have rescued a bumblebee 🐝 cooked hotdogs on the fire pit for dinner and explored creating some hapa zone with things we could find in the woods

Today's forest school session has involved exploring different ways to make marks and create some 'forest art' using things we could find around us.
Climbing the trees.
Lunch was either hot dogs or baked potatoes and of course toasting marshmallows

Today's forest school fun has involved searching for ALL the bugs 🪰 🐝 🦋 🪱
Building our very own dens and toasting yummy marshmallows to make s'mores 😋
