This year, an impressive 38% of our learners achieved high grades of A* to B (or equivalent)! A huge well done to everyone, we're incredibly proud of you all.

👏🏻 And just like that… the results are in.

Yesterday was a day full of nerves, tears, celebrations and some very, very proud moments.

From the moment our students walked through the doors to collect their results, we watched years of hard work, determination and resilience come together.

Whatever the result, every student should be incredibly proud of how far they’ve come. And for those heading off to university, into apprenticeships, employment or onto their next adventure; we couldn’t be more excited to see what comes next.

Your future starts here. And it’s looking bright. 💜

A-level progress that speaks volumes! 📈 It’s not just about the grades you achieve; it’s about the progress you make to get there.

Value Added measures exactly that, comparing students’ A-level results with the results they were statistically expected to achieve based on their starting points.

Sefton Sixth Form College has improved its score from 5 to 4 this year, meaning our students achieved significantly more progress than expected.

It’s another brilliant reflection of what happens when talented students are given the support, challenge and opportunities to go further.
