Yesterday our incredible Year 6 boys football team did something amazing!
We travelled to Burraton for the cup final against a strong and talented Burraton team. Team Hillfort showed everyone what they can do. Strong, brave and skilful on the ball, making great passes, unbelievable saves and fantastic shots and unstoppable goals! The boys really put on an incredible team performance and came away as winners winning 3 - 0. ⚽️⚽️⚽️
What they boys didn’t know is that due to not a lot of football taking place over the winter because of all that awful weather and the school year coming to an end, it was decided by the organisers that this match was also a league final aswell.
This means that not only did the boys win the cup final they also won the whole league! The boys have done the double - something that has not been done at Hillfort before, what a way to end their primary school journey! 🏆
So just want to give a huge shout out to the incredible Year 6 boys Hillfort football team - Tayten, Jack, Theo, Zachary, Jacob, Kairan, Oliver, Adam and Finley.
Thank-you to all the parents and carers for getting the boys to the match and for being there to cheer them on!
