Our outdoor sand pit has been revamped and is looking amazing 👏 thank you to the site team for working incredibly hard in our February half term to make these changes.

We are extremely lucky to have such an amazing team within the trust to keep our outdoor area looking fantastic 😀 🌟

What an amazing visit we had yesterday!

Thank you to Nina and Tanya from Healthy Cornwall for visiting us here at Liskeard School Nursery and providing a fun, informative and interesting healthy food session.

The children enjoyed exploring new foods, foods they already know and some tastes they are not so keen on. The children explored the smells, textures and tastes of a Rainbow 🌈 selection of fruits and vegetables.

Chinese New Year 2026 - Year of the horse 🐎

Gong Xi Fa Cai 恭喜发财

Our Sunshine Room 3-5 🌞 children have been investigating and learning about Chinese New Year, why this is celebrated, how this is celebrated and have held some wonderful discussions around the differences in foods, colours and textures.

What a wonderful opportunity for us to build on knowledge of the world around us and try some new flavours!

SMART Training Day!

Wow, what a fantastic day of workshops with our SMART Nurseries Team. The team attended a range of classes which extended current knowledge, interests and professional development and all held by experienced and inspirational leaders within the trust.

We then ended the day with our own in house training, exploring changes within our own curriculum and building on our current practice and provision (let's not forget, some fantastic team building opportunities too).

We look forward to seeing everyone back from tomorrow 😀 📖 🌎

📝 Contract: Permanent
💰 Salary: Grade E – £25,185 pro rata (approx. £21,500 actual)
⏰ Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time + 5 INSET days)
