Absolutely divine circle last night exploring the theme of witch through the lens of Cornish pillar stories and our own experiences and interpretations of what it means to be a magical, powerful, earth connected woman in 2026! It is such a privilege to gather with 15 other women and go deep into witchcraft - the daily lived reality and the more indepth practices. I will never take for granted that this is something we get to go freely, without persecution and held in so much love, community + sisterhood. Thank you to all the witches who came and shared their magic.

Kephalonia Part 3 - Ancient Ancestors. As much as we were able to decompress and relax by the pool and the sea on this holiday, no trip with me would be complete without a few pilgrimages, especially if there are ancient and sacred sites to explore. kernow_marcus and I went to the Cyclopean ancient ruins of Krani, where a temple dedicated to the harvest goddess Demeter once stood. We’ve been working with Demeter’s energy at Sacred Kernow for the last few months and it was a beautiful opportunity to pause and give thanks for the harvest of the year so far and to say a few prayers for abundance in the year to come.
We also went to the Mycenaean Necropolis of Mazarakata, which are 3500 year old yonic burial chambers cut into the rock.
Given my interest in ancestors, death rites and my Meeting Mortality work with Awen Wellbeing CIC SE Cornwall this was a poignant place to reflect on my own mortality and think about the women whose names weren’t recorded or memorialised here but whose energy lives on in the land - the mothers, healers, mourners, priestesses, daughters and grandmothers who lived here three millennia ago. I’m grateful Marcus is up for these adventures with me and that Kefalonia has so much history for us to explore.

Kefalonia part 1 - and the most important part. A week of sun, calm, connection and nervous system resetting. This was a true opportunity to digest the last 9 months and to come back together in love. Thank you kernow_marcus for an amazing week together. Love you very much.

Last night’s Sacred Kernow circle was a beautiful exploration of the healing energy of the goddess Airmid + her herbal apothecary. It was also an opportunity to reflect on what grows from grief and what we are currently tending to. It was also an invitation to listen to our hearts + give ourselves what we need. We worked with 25 plants to make our own bespoke tea blends and so much herbal wisdom was shared amongst women. I love how the ancient fires of women gathering create new embers of connection and magic. Thank you thank you thank you.

October at Sacred Kernow

As the calendar turns towards October, Samhain + witch season (though we all know that EVERY season is witch season when you get to hang out with witches on a regular basis!), there are three gatherings in the studio this month before 13 of us gather at my home and on the land for Witch Camp at the end of October.

1 OCTOBER: THE HEALING GARDEN OF AIRMID (FULL)
We begin October with Airmid, the Irish goddess of herbs, healing knowledge and the mysteries held within plants. Airmid’s story is one of healing, but also of loss and the preservation of knowledge. We’ll spend some time with her mythology and with the long relationship between women, plants and healing, before heading into Airmid’s garden ourselves.
I have been gathering a frankly ridiculous collection of herbs, flowers, leaves and roots so that everyone can create their own herbal tea blend to take home.

15 OCTOBER, 7-9.30pm (£10): YOUR INNER WITCH + THE CORNISH PELLARWOMAN
Our annual Inner Witch circle returns for Samhain and this year we’ll be exploring the Cornish pellarwoman: the wise woman, healer and magical practitioner of Cornish folk tradition.
Pellars were sought out for healing, divination, charms and protection, as well as for dealing with curses and ill-wishing. I’m fascinated by what survives in these stories about women, folk magic, intuition, healing + our relationship with the land.
We’ll explore the history and folklore of the Cornish pellar alongside our own relationship with the witch: the parts of ourselves that know, intuit, create, protect, heal and practise our own forms of everyday magic.

18 OCTOBER (2-6pm, £25) CRAFT + CACKLE - SAMHAIN EDITION
Four hours in the studio with tables covered in paint, herbs, charms, ribbons and all manner of witchy bits and pieces.
This time we’re making:�- Witch bottle pendants�- Mini ritual besoms
- Ancestor shrine tins�- Painted ceramic cauldrons�- Witch altar + home blessing plaques
You can make at least five crafts, everything is provided and absolutely no artistic ability is required!
Come and make lovely witchy things, drink tea, eat snacks, chat and cackle with us.

Sacred Kernow presents the Autumn 2026 Rosary Collection

Over the last month, I’ve slowly and intentionally handmade fourteen one-of-a-kind rosary necklaces using crystals, charms + talismans alongside beads made from sacred well waters + flowers from Sacred Kernow circles + celebrations.

Each rosary is an act of devotion and carries a numerological correspondence plus the energy of a goddess, archetype or story we have explored through Sacred Kernow.

The word rosary refers to the garlands that were traditionally woven from roses and offered to the Virgin Mary in the springtime. But long before Mary, those same garlands were made as offerings to other goddesses by many other names. Roses were offered to Venus, the Roman goddess of love and fertility, and before that, they were offered to Isis, the Great Mother of the ancient Mediterranean world. The rosary is an enduring, multi-cultural symbol of the divine feminine and our own connection to the divinity within us.

It was a truly special night, exploring the dragon lines of the land and the energetic lines in our bodies and lives. Acknowledging that balance is a dance and that the currents of the masculine and feminine move in us and around us in many different ways - both needed, valued and treasured. Last night also marked the 50th Sacred Kernow circle, so not only did we reflect on our soul moment from the evening but from all of our time at Sacred Kernow. The overwhelming feeling was about community and how it feels to be seen, heard and cared for as you truly are. This is such a beautiful group of women who continue to gather to honour the seasons and connect to self, land, lineage, community + spirit. Thank you . masculineandfeminineenergy

CRAFT & CACKLE: SAMHAIN EDITION

Craft & Cackle is back for Samhain!
Join me for a cosy, witchy afternoon of making, chatting, tea drinking and cackling, with tables full of paints, herbs, ribbons, charms and all sorts of magical bits and pieces to play with.
This time we’ll be making:
·      Ancestor shrine tins
·      Mini ritual besoms
·      Witch bottle pendants
·      Painted ceramic cauldrons
·      Witch altar / home blessing plaques
Everything is provided and you can make each piece completely your own. No artistic ability required. Simply come and spend an afternoon making lovely witchy things in good company.
