📢 A message from the Headteacher

We've loved welcoming students back this September! A huge well done to our GCSE students, including those with SEND and other barriers, who achieved their best results since the current 1-9 GCSEs began in 2017. A warm welcome too to our new Year 7 and Year 12 students, who've settled in brilliantly.

📢 We're hiring! IT Services Manager – SMART Schools Trust

We're seeking appropriately skilled and experienced candidates for a vacancy in our Trust-wide IT support team, based at Liskeard School and Community College. You'll manage the IT support team at Liskeard and oversee day-to-day operations of Liskeard and Dobwalls schools' computer networks and communications systems, as well as planning their longer-term development to meet each school's educational and operational requirements.

We're keen to engage a professional practitioner who can assist the Head of ICT Services in delivering excellent service and support to our community of IT users across the Trust. 📊 51%+ grades at strong pass or better
📊 16% of the cohort at grades 7, 8 or 9
📊 55% of vocational grades at merit/distinction

We're especially proud that our students with SEND and those who've faced additional challenges achieved the highest attainment in the school's recorded history — in line with or above the national average for the first time. 💪
