A familiar face to many of our students, Lili has been dancing with Nicky since she moved to Cornwall 10 years ago. Last week she was offered places with both English Youth Ballet and National Youth Ballet. She has decided to accept the place on the residential performance company with NYB this summer, rehearsing at Elhurst in Birmingham. She will perform 3 times in Birmingham in August and then again at Sadler's Wells in London in September. This is Lili's 4th year auditioning for NYB. In previous years she's either been unsuccessful or offered a place on the intensive course with them. It just goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams!
Last night, in recognition of her talent and hard work Lili was given an award at the Young and Talented Cornwall Award ceremony. She's been given this award to help fund her training with NYB and MORE Pointe shoes! She also gets a one to one class with Julie Felix mbe which she is very excited about!
