Coding Club is back! 👾

We are back with our popular Coding clubs after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and our Home Education sessions on Tuesday mornings.

If you are new to code club this term, welcome! You can learn Micro:Bit, Scratch, Roblox Studios, Unreal Engine 5 and finish up with an end of Term showcase 👏

Take a look at our video to see some highlights from previous showcases where children, parents, and industry professionals saw our participants achievements from the term.

🎬 Lights, camera, premiere!

This week we welcomed a small audience to Liskeard Library for the premiere of Bob's Revenge, a stop-motion film created by one of our talented Skills Futures participants.

Over the course of the programme, they've used creativity and artistic skills to build confidence, develop new ways of communicating and prepare for real-world situations and opportunities.

Seeing their work showcased on screen was a brilliant reminder of what can happen when people are given the space and support to explore their creativity.

🎨 Fun fact: they also illustrated our children's menu, so next time you're in the library café, take a look at their fantastic artwork.

🍕🎨📚 Food, creativity and community.

We've had a brilliant time welcoming families to the library for our Family Lunch sessions this summer. Alongside a free lunch, families have enjoyed getting creative, trying activities together and spending time in a friendly, welcoming environment.

It's been great to see new faces, familiar faces, and plenty of creativity around the tables.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make these afternoons so enjoyable!
