A successful start to our academic year 2026/2027 ✨️
Our SMART Nurseries Team have celebrated Jaymee's last day before her MAT leave starts 👶 👩‍🍼 , we look forward to seeing baby when his due date arrives.

The team completed some further training, discussing some recent changes to the EYFS framework and inspection toolkit (let's not forget the quizzes and team work activties).

There has also been some changes here at Dobwalls, with some upgrades to our rooms and they are looking wonderful! If you would like to take a peek we have added some photos, but you can also come in to have a closer look.

We look forward to welcoming you back from tomorrow, we are very excited to hear about your summer holidays 🌞 ⛱️ 🌊.

.. 🎓 Class of 2026 🎓 ..

Congratulations to our preschool leavers who will be transitioning to reception class in September.

We've had the most wonderful time this past year (and a few more with many of you). Seeing you grow, becoming who you are and shine in confidence has been so amazing to see and for us as a team to be apart of your journey.

A special thank you to Lydia, Lauren and Jaymee for supporting you in your journey and creating a wonderful preschool environment. And a big thank you to Kirsty, Nicole and Helen for being there at the start, middle and end of your journey.

Have the best time - and don't forget to wave when you see us ✨️ 💖

We currently have vacancies within our Pre-School Room for children aged 3-5 years. Availability from September is limited.

⚠️ At this stage, we intend to remain open tomorrow. If we assess that the environment is no longer safe for children, due to the red heat alert, we may make the decision to close. We will continue to monitor the conditions throughout the day and will contact you immediately where early closure is required ⚠️

Today we had a wonderful time exploring the climbing frame on the school field!

The children used some fantastic strong gross motor skills, negotiating their way around the various levels on the frame and excitedly showing their friends their achievements.

Our Caterpillar Room 2-3 also joined us! 🌟 🤩

Can you help us? We are looking for some resources to enhance our outdoor tuff trays. We are looking to extend our natural additions to trays such as;
- Wooden Rounds
- Pine Cones
- Shells (large)
- Pebbles (large)
- Picnic Blankets
- Short peices of guttering
- Herbs for our sensory garden 🌿
