Clear policies help everyone know where they stand 🤍

I’ve created the Therapist Policy Pack for massage, beauty and holistic therapists who want to explain their booking terms clearly and professionally.

Inside, you’ll find four editable policies covering booking, cancellations, no-shows and inappropriate behaviour, plus matching social media posts. You can add your own branding and tailor the wording to suit how your business works.

The pack is £19 and available now through Grace Training Academy. Visit the website to find it in the shop.

Please personalise and check each policy before sharing it with clients.

Do you have lots of ideas for your therapy business—but feel unsure which one to tackle first?

Perhaps you’re newly qualified and don’t know where to begin. Maybe you’re trying to organise your treatment menu, pricing, paperwork, bookings or marketing. Or perhaps there’s one particular decision keeping you stuck.

Our Business Clarity Session gives you 90 minutes of focused, one-to-one support to talk everything through and work out what matters most right now.

Your session includes:
✨ A pre-session intake form so we can focus on your priorities
✨ A private 90-minute session tailored to your business
✨ Practical guidance around the areas you need help with
✨ A written summary of your key recommendations and next steps

Sessions can take place at the Grace Training Academy studio in Lisburn, over coffee at a mutually agreed location, or online through Microsoft Teams.

You don’t need to arrive with everything organised—that’s what the session is for. You’ll leave with clearer direction and a manageable plan, without feeling that you need to do everything at once.

We are massage therapists — not “masseuses”.

I was disappointed to see massage professionals referred to as “masseuses” in a recent BBC story.

This may seem like a small choice of words, but professional titles matter.

Massage therapists undertake recognised training in anatomy and physiology, health and safety, contraindications, consultation, professional ethics and hands-on therapeutic techniques. We maintain insurance, complete ongoing professional development and hold a genuine responsibility for the wellbeing of every client in our care.

The term “masseuse” is outdated and does not properly reflect the training, skill or professionalism involved in our work.

The correct term is massage therapist.

As a training academy preparing therapists to enter and develop within this profession, we believe it is important that we use accurate and respectful terminology.

Words shape perception — and our profession deserves to be represented properly.

Our brand-new Grace Training Academy website is officially LIVE! 💜✨

This has been in development since May, and so much thought, care and detail has gone into creating a website that works better for you—whether you are discovering us for the first time or have trained with us before.

Because this is a completely new, bespoke website, accounts and personal details from our previous site have not carried across. You will therefore need to create a new account, even if you were previously registered with us.

Please don’t worry if you already made a course booking through the old website—your booking is still secure. Once you create your new account, we will add your existing booking to it.

On the new website, you can:

💜 Create your own student account
💜 Join the waiting list for any course you’re interested in
💜 Tell us which dates or days suit you
💜 Receive an automatic email when new dates are released
💜 Access our new Student Hub
💜 Discover exclusive student discounts, with more being added soon

There are lots of lovely new additions still to come, and I’m so excited to finally welcome you inside!

Have a little look around and let me know what you think. You’ll find the website through the link in our bio.
