There’s no such thing as one perfect hinge.

Too often we’re taught there’s one “right” way to move. Do it this way or you’re doing it wrong. But in reality, movement is far more individual than that.

Your best hinge depends on your body, your goals, your injury history, how you manage pressure, your pelvic floor symptoms and what you’re trying to achieve right now.

Here’s the thing: a woman recovering from birth, someone managing prolapse symptoms, a CrossFitter chasing performance and a woman returning from injury may all hinge slightly differently.

Same movement pattern. Different demands. Different benefits. And that’s completely okay.

Good coaching isn’t about making everybody move the same way. It’s about finding the version that works for YOUR body. Right now. At this stage. With your specific needs.

So which hinge is yours? Watch the five versions in this carousel and find the one that feels strong for your body.

“I wee when I run.”

I hear this from so many women.

What I notice isn’t embarrassment or shame. It’s how much you miss running without having to think about your bladder. How much you miss feeling free in your body.

Because for many women, running isn’t just exercise. It’s headspace. Stress relief. Time for you.

Leaking when you run is common, but it isn’t something you have to just put up with.

Your pelvic floor isn’t broken. More often than not, it just needs help learning how to manage the pressure that running creates.

With the right approach, most women see significant improvements within 6-8 weeks.

You deserve to run, jump, laugh and move without worrying where the nearest toilet is -You deserve to move freely again 💙

8.6 million women die from heart disease around the world annually, that’s more than all cancers combined. And we’re not talking about it with urgency.

Women’s heart disease gets misdiagnosed all the time. It’s fatigue. Jaw pain. Nausea. Shortness of breath. So we go to the doctor, get sent home, and told it’s stress. By the time anyone connects the dots, it’s too late.

We’re being missed because the system wasn’t built for our symptoms.

Resistance training - lifting, building strength, has been proven to significantly reduces cardiovascular disease risk in women. More than cardio alone. When you lift you strengthen your heart muscle, improve blood pressure, reduce inflammation and you’re building protection from the inside out.

This is about building a body that’s resilient and protected for the decades ahead.

If you’re ready to build that strength, let’s talk. Free discovery call to explore how lifting protects your heart and your future.

Surgery is a big decision and you deserve to make it with full information.

These 9 questions that you can ask your doctor will help you understand more about the surgery, the risks, the alternatives to surgery and more.

This isn’t about doubting your doctor or being difficult, this is about advocating for your own body and health and making sure that this is the right decision for you.

Over the last decade I’ve helped many women rediscover their strength. Not by chasing who they were before babies or before symptoms started — but by helping them build trust, confidence and resilience in the body they have now.

Watching women go from “I can’t” to “I can’t believe I just did that” never gets old. From feeling fearful and disconnected from their body to feeling capable and strong again.

And it won’t be because I gave you a generic plan that works for everyone, but because this programme is tailored around you, your symptoms, your experience and your life.

If you’re ready to feel stronger than youve ever been before start with a free discovery call. Link in my bio 💙

Almost a decade working in pelvic health and movement and I still hear these myths that are keeping women stuck.

Every single one of them keeps women fearful of movement instead of building confidence and capacity in their bodies.

And worse? They keep women accepting symptoms they’ve been told are “normal” instead of getting the support they deserve.

If you’ve been told any of these things and you’re stuck not knowing what to do next, I’m here for you.

This walk when my little boy was about 10 weeks old was one of the lowest points in my Pelvic Organ Prolapse journey.

We were away on holiday. I’d done a postnatal rehab workout that morning and later went out for a walk with Frankie in the baby carrier. It started raining, so I did a little jog and in that moment I just knew

I felt like my insides were falling out of me.

I stayed in denial for a good few weeks. I’d already been fobbed off after my first birth, so it took a lot of energy and resilience to ask for help again.

My mind was racing.
Why am I going through this?
Where did I go wrong?
Was it my fault?

Why does nobody else seem to be struggling like this?

I was fit, I was active and I felt strong. And all of a sudden I felt like I couldn’t do anything.

The pain and heaviness is one of the worst sensations, hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it. It’s so debilitating and I would never wish it on anyone. The fear of never being able to run after my kids again, never lift again, never feel like me again
it completely took over for a while.

But there’s only so long you can stay in that place.

At some point I had to face the reality of it and decide I wanted more for myself. I didn’t want my babies growing up thinking mum never played with us. And I didn’t want to spend years thinking I’ll never be the woman I was before.

So I faced it, I learned, I trained, I built capacity and I got stronger. Not despite having prolapse but through learning to work with it, with a lot of help along the way.
If you’re in that broken place right now I see you. I was there, but staying there won’t fix it.

The best investment you’ll ever make is investment in your own health.

Not someday, not when you have more time, Now 💙

“Daddy’s little girl”, “little princess” - it’s endearing, I get it. I still have a t-shirt from when I was 8!
‹But what about strong girls?‹I know it’s not easy
 I’m raising one 😅
How about we teach our girls that they are STRONG. Not strong like a man but strong like a WOMAN.

Strong like a woman. Capable like a woman. Brave like a woman. Powerful like a woman. This is the message our daughters deserve to grow up with, not that they should be delicate or sweet or pretty first. That they are STRONG.

This is why Real Strong Women and Real Strong Girls exists. So our daughters can grow up knowing how strong they are as WOMEN. So they see their mums wearing STRONG. So by the time they’re old enough to understand what society tells them they should be they’ve already spent years knowing that they actually are STRONG.

Let’s raise the next generation of girls differently!đŸ’ȘđŸ»
