Congratulations to Pond Park PS Goal Attack, who was voted Player of the Tournament by our umpiring team at the 2026 Primary Schools Finals Day! 🌟

Throughout the day, she consistently demonstrated excellent skill, movement, decision making and sportsmanship, making a significant impact for her team on court. 👏

A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved recognition from the officials.

What a day for our netball girls!🏆

A HUGE Congratulations to our Girls’ Netball Team who RETAINED their title as Northern Ireland Champions.
The girls were undefeated throughout the whole tournament and won a nail biting final in extra time against Tannaghmore after coming from 6-2 down at half-time!
The day was extra special for captain Lily who was named Player of the Tournament!

Our P7 Eco Councillors were at Lagan Valley Island Centre today for the Eco-Schools Green Flag Awards Ceremony to receive our Green Flag for the year ♻️

Our Girls’ Cricket Team enjoyed a morning of limited games at the NCU Cricket Finals Day.
The girls had the opportunity to play 3 games before the rain put an end to the competition 🏏☔️💧

Thanks to all who have donated pre-loved books to our School Council collection to update our Key Stage AR book boxes.

So far they have collected 70+ books 📚📖

Congratulations to Zac Patterson and Joris Grauzinis who were part of the Lisburn Primary Schools’ Select Team this year. We are very proud to have both boys selected for this squad.
The boys finished the year with a trip to Dublin where they had a 6-1 win against Crumlin Utd. ⚽️

It was a great day out for our Boys’ Cricket Team who finished with silver medals as runners up in the NCU Northern Ireland Primary Schools Cricket competition held at Friends’ School.
The boys played brilliantly and were undefeated until the final. 🏏🥈

Well done to all who represented Pond Park at the Lisburn Primary Schools’ Swimming Gala.
We are so proud of those who competed and it was great to see so many of our pupils collect medals 🥇 🥈🥉🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Tomorrow is PTA Summer Fair day in school and with a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, we will be going ahead regardless of the weather! ☀️☔️🌦️
All classes will have an opportunity to visit the fair during the school day 😃
