ππ Basketball Success at Largymore!
We are delighted to share that three of our P6 pupils have been awarded scholarship places at a basketball camp this summer with The Cleveland Project Northern Ireland.
The scholarships will provide an exciting opportunity to develop their skills, learn from experienced coaches and enjoy a fun-filled summer of basketball.
We are incredibly proud of their success and wish them every enjoyment as they take part in this wonderful opportunity.

Offering a safe, caring and engaging environment for our children beyond the school day, Pegasus Afterschool Care will be run by our own school staff and is designed to support busy families with flexible wraparound care.

πΏπ Green Flag Success for Largymore!
Yesterday, we were delighted to attend the Eco-Schools Award Ceremony 2026 at the Island-Arts Centre, where we were presented with our Green Flag Award.
Our P6/7 Eco Team proudly represented the school and celebrated this fantastic achievement on behalf of the entire Largymore community. The pupils also had the opportunity to meet the newly elected The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh.
We are incredibly proud of our Eco Team and all of the pupils and staff who contributed towards achieving this prestigious award. A huge thank you to Mrs Preshur who leads our Eco team in school and all her hard work behind the scenes.

β³ποΈ Golf Fun for P6!
Yesterday, our Primary 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic session with Salt Factory Sports, where they had the opportunity to take part in a range of golf activities.
The pupils worked on developing their skills, improving their technique and, most importantly, having lots of fun along the way!

ππ P5 Blast Off to Armagh Planetarium!
Yesterday, our Primary 5 pupils enjoyed a fantastic trip to Armagh Observatory and Planetarium as part of their Space topic.
The pupils had a wonderful day exploring, learning and discovering more about our fascinating universe. It was a brilliant opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life and deepen their understanding of space.

STEM in Action for P6!
Today, our Primary 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic visit to the Island-Arts Centre to take part in a STEM workshop called The Big Bridge.
Using their engineering skills, pupils worked together to design and build a bridge, putting their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving abilities to the test.
A huge thank you to Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council and Think Design Engineer for providing such an enjoyable and engaging experience.
The pupils had a fantastic time! π

π¦π Our Primary 4 pupils have been working incredibly hard on their homework this week, using junk art materials to create an animal of their choice linked to their topic work on Bugs, Birds and Beasts.
We have been amazed by the creativity, effort and imagination shown in their fantastic creations. The finished pieces are absolutely outstanding!

π’β Titanic Topic Work in P7
Our Primary 7 pupils have been working incredibly hard building and creating models of the Titanic as part of their topic work.
Using their knowledge from lessons on circuits, pupils even created moving propellers for their ships - bringing their learning to life through creativity, problem-solving and teamwork.
