Summer's approaching which means it's time to launch our Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme 3 and 6 month car maintenance skills courses! 🔧

You don't have to be signed up for the D of E to take part, but if you are we will support you through your skills section and submit your assessor report at the end of your course.

We are running two courses this Summer, and places are limited. Age 14 years +

Summer ☀️ 2024 dates (in Liphook):
Sunday 22nd June, 20th July and 17th August, 10.30 am - 12.30pm
Or
Saturday 7th July, 4th August, 1st September, 10.30 am - 12.30pm
Plus 3-4 hours home based activities for 3 or 6 months.

By the end of the course you will have the skills and knowledge to keep your (or your future) car running efficiently and safely (and save money on future service/essential maintenance costs).

Taught by Justin, our resident motor technician and MOT tester (over 25 years experience) and Lucy, D of E Assessor and qualified teacher.

Consider whether your journey is really necessary and only travel where there is no other option. If you do have to travel, listen out for local news bulletins to keep up to date with road closures.

Hamilton the cat now knows how to check and top up his oil and screen wash, fit a new wiper blade, measure tyre tread and check pressure 👍
