'Listen, Laugh and Learn' provides individual tuition to primary school aged children, along with fun and educational art and drama groups based on children's favourite stories. Local, flexible, high-quality tuition for primary aged children, delivered by a teacher who has a record of outstanding lesson observations and 10 years experience of teaching in an 'Outstanding' school. LAUGH & LEARN?
* 1:1 tuition on a weekly basis, during school holidays or as a one off to fill a gap in learning- Online (£30 per hour) or face to face (£35).
* 30 minute sessions to suit a shorter attention span- Online (£15) or face to face (£18).
* Small group sessions of up to 4 home educated children- get together with a group of friends to split the cost- £10 per child per hour, school hours only. SCHOOL HOLIDAY ART AND DRAMA GROUPS- FULL
During these groups children listen and join in with a captivating story. drawing, painting, printing or collage. Children can become absorbed in their activity in a calm and nurturing environment. The story group concludes with the children getting into character and bringing the story alive through drama! BENEFITS OF OUR STORY GROUPS
STORIES: Listen, Laugh and Learn promotes reading and a love of books. Everything we do is brought back to the text. Research shows the importance of reading aloud to children on a regular basis, even once they can already read for themselves. ART: Our creative activities encourage imaginative thinking and perseverance. They provide children with a sense of accomplishment. DRAMA: Listen, Laugh and Learn is fun and a great way to make friends. The drama element in particular is fantastic for building confidence.
