The modern agricultural landscape is undergoing a massive digital shift, driven by the need for greater efficiency, sustainability, and resource management. While advanced ag-tech sensors and unmanned aircraft hold immense potential, simply purchasing a drone isn't enough to unlock these benefits. To truly bridge the gap between owning technology and generating high-value agronomic data, farm operators and agronomists need the specialised skills to fly safely, legally, and with maximum accuracy.

We’re proud to offer tailored drone training for the agricultural sector that is built to give you and your team that an operational edge. As the UK's longest-running CAA-approved drone training provider, we combine our deep aviation heritage with the practical realities of modern farming. We teach operators how to seamlessly deploy unmanned systems across expansive acreage, transforming daily workflows from reactive field scouting to proactive, data-driven estate management.

Our done training focuses on the technical nuances that matter most to the agricultural sector. We guide your team through the complexities of multi-spectral and thermal imaging payloads, showing you how to correctly capture the high-resolution aerial data required to assess crop health, map soil variations, and monitor livestock. Beyond the sensors, we’ll provide you with instruction on flight planning, safety management, and navigating evolving aviation regulations, ensuring your farm's drone program operates with total compliance.

Investing in professional training future-proofs your agricultural business by eliminating costly trial-and-error out in the field. By embedding these specialised aviation skills directly into your workforce, your team can rapidly identify crop stress, optimise inputs, and drive down operational costs with absolute confidence.

Speak to our training specialists today to build a compliant, efficient, and truly data-driven drone operation across your farm or estate; from crop health analysis to precision input optimisation, we’ll help you embed the capability in-house, with confidence.

The UK drone landscape is evolving and with the introduction of UK SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment), there is now a clear, structured pathway for conducting more advanced, scalable, and compliant drone operations.

From 14–16 July in Lincoln, Eagle Eye Innovations is delivering its Mastering UK SORA for Drone Operations course , which is designed to give operators, organisations, and decision-makers the knowledge and confidence to navigate this framework effectively.

Over three intensive days, delegates are guided step-by-step through the 14-stage SORA process. From building a robust Concept of Operations (ConOps) through to understanding Ground Risk Class (GRC), Air Risk Class (ARC), SAIL, and Operational Safety Objectives (OSOs), the course blends structured learning with real-world application.

Through expert-led instruction and practical case studies, attendees develop the skills required to support successful SORA submissions; enabling more advanced missions such as BVLOS operations, flights in complex environments, and the use of larger RPAS platforms.

As UK regulation continues to mature, understanding SORA is no longer optional for organisations looking to scale. It is a key enabler for unlocking new commercial opportunities, improving operational flexibility, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Delivered by experienced safety practitioners, this course ensures you leave with practical insight, not just theory, ready to confidently approach the SORA process.

If you're looking to future-proof your drone capability, this is the next step. Secure your place now.

What do I learn on my RPC-L2 Course?

During Remote Pilot Certificate Level Two (RPC-L2) training you’ll build on the foundations laid out within the RPC-L1, with Level 2 going beyond basic drone planning and operations, and introducing the following:

• Advanced operational planning - This covers risk assessments, contingency planning and airspace considerations for higher risk operations.
• Risk management for complex missions - Discover how to handle a wider range of emergencies including engine or motor failures, equipment malfunctions and tactical deconfliction
• Beyond Visual Line of Sight theory - The RPC Level 2 enables you to operate Beyond Visual Line of Sight within the specific category, provided you’re flying in an Atypical Air Environment.
• Atypical Air Environments - How to reduce the Air Risk Class (ARC) to ARC-a.

Now is the time to register your interest in RPC-L2 training with Eagle Eye Innovations; because advanced operations demand advanced piloting skills.
