Eagle Eye Innovations Ltd We are the longest running, UK based drone training and consultancy agency.

Since 2015 EEI has trained and assisted organisations globally in understanding the incredible benefits and capabilities of Remotely Piloted Air Systems, more commonly referred to as drones. As the longest-running academy accredited by the CAA, EEI has trained and highlighted the advantages of this technology to a diverse audience, including a large proportion of the UK's police forces and other emergency services and large corporates in the sub 25 kg category. EEI’s experience is unmatched, with a combined 70+ years of experience as instructors on the RAF's MQ-9 Reaper fleet and other crewed and uncrewed platforms. Although EEI’s instructors have left the RAF, they still provide RAF Reaper qualified civilian instructors to train new RAF crew members in the Reaper simulator.

At Eagle Eye Innovations, we're committed to creating a positive impact that extends beyond the organisations and individuals we train.

That's why, for every course we deliver, we fund the planting of one square metre of wildflowers through My Square Metre | B-Corp Square Meter. With our latest purchase, we're continuing to support the creation of valuable habitats for pollinators, helping to increase biodiversity and restore nature one square metre at a time.

During Q3 2026 alone, Eagle Eye Innovations delivered 21 training courses, resulting in a further 21 square metres of wildflower habitat being funded through My Square Meter. Every course we deliver contributes directly to this initiative, turning professional development into a tangible environmental benefit. With our latest purchase, our partnership with My Square Meter has now helped create a growing area of wildflower habitat, supporting pollinators, increasing biodiversity, and helping restore valuable ecosystems across the UK.

Every drone pilot trained, every qualification achieved, and every course completed contributes to something bigger. It's a small action that, collectively, can make a meaningful difference.

Professional development and environmental responsibility don't have to be mutually exclusive. We're proud that our training activity supports both people and the planet.

Today is an important step in developing a vision that could contribute to the future of UK aviation. This vision brings industry, government and regulators together to explore how capability development could be accelerated without compromising safety or assurance

The proposed Centre for Future Flight Innovation (CFFI) at Lydd Airport seeks to create a dedicated environment where future aviation technologies can be developed, tested and evaluated, and where the evidence, skills and assurance needed for safe operational deployment can be built.

As innovation continues to evolve across aviation, one challenge remains clear; how do we bridge the gap between promising technology and operational reality?

The proposed CFFI roadmap explores how this challenge could be addressed through a combination of infrastructure, expertise, collaboration and trusted assurance frameworks.

At Eagle Eye Innovations, we're proud to support the development of the roadmap and vision behind the proposed Centre.
