Well, my last few days of childminding were not quite what I expected. Unfortunately due to my own children testing positive for Covid, I was forced to immediately close to all families last Wednesday bringing childminding to a rather abrupt end.
I am so pleased all the children have found great care going forward and I wish them, their families and everyone I have cared for all the best for the future.
Thank you so much for supporting me, take care and stay safe but for nowβ¦β¦β¦

So, this isnβt one of my usual posts, itβs more of an almost time to say goodbye post.
Last week I made the very difficult decision to leave childminding. I have loved caring for children and watching them grow but due to a number of reasons it is now the right time to stop childminding and put my own family first.
I have met some amazing families over the last few years and will cherish many fond memories of my adventures with all the children.
Childminding is an incredibly heart warming and rewarding vocation but also exhausting! I am proud of what I have achieved during my time as a Childminder and I have certainly learnt lots to help me move forward with the next chapter of my life.
But for now, itβs time to get on with 8 days of Christmas magic! π

They shall not grow old
as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.

Strawberry and raspberry picking today.
We didnβt expect the rain so did get a little wet but no one cared - think the raspberries that accidentally fell in little mouths made up for it!

We are loving the sunshine this week and have been having lots of fun.
Yesterday we took a trip to Lincoln Castle, enjoyed exploring and learning lots of new words followed by a lovely picnic and a play on the park.
Today has been full of sun cream, shade and water fun - the little ones especially love sliding down the slide into the paddling pool βοΈ
