Last week we had a very special visit from Bishop Nicholas, the acting Bishop of Lincoln. Accompanied by Reverend Lorna, he joined us for collective worship. We sang two of our favourite songs before Bishop Nicholas delivered the blessing. After meeting with our Awe & Wonder Council and Mrs Dickin, our Bishops Visitor, he took a tour of the school including looking at the windows we created during Holy Week. โœ๏ธ

Little Owls listened to โ€˜What a Wonderful Worldโ€™ by Louis Armstrong in their RE lesson. Thry spoke about what in the world makes them say โ€˜WOWโ€™. With ideas of hailstone, rock pools and the trees. They then went outside to take in our world. They lay down in silence and used their senses and listened to the sounds of the windy trees, birds singing, they smelt the grass and leaves and felt trees. They observed clouds moving and the calm this brings. ๐Ÿ’œ
