Here we come again…the first day of school for our AMAZING Little Owls! We have been so impressed by all the children right across the school, especially those taking their first day in their stride! We can wait to see what this school year holds 💙

Our early September books are all about starting school! With our children returning tomorrow and our new Little Owls joining us for their very first day, we hope these books are enjoyed by many! Next week we appoint our new Reading Ambassadors…they will then be unboxing our subscription box 📦 Each month our spotlight books will be based on the content of the box we can’t wait to share each unboxing and spotlight with you throughout the year!!✨💙📚

🍎Our school office is open from tomorrow for all your enquiries, pre-loved uniform, pre-loved books & this terms event wall! ✏️We are looking forward to some of our children making an extra transition visit tomorrow afternoon ahead of the first day of term on Thursday! 💊ALL medicines & inhalers need to come into school via the office so the relevant forms can be completed. 📧 [email protected].

Check out our brilliant pre-loved uniform rack in the main foyer. We have restocked all our uniform items, with lots of sizes available. This includes our logo hoodies, jumpers & cardigans. All items are washed, ironed & ready to wear! Great on the budget as well as having a positive impact on the environment! Pre-loved uniform is available all year round 💙 Pop in from the 1st September 💙 💙

This afternoon we celebrated the with our Y2 Leavers Collective Worship 🎓⭐️ The children shared memories, sang together, shared the light from our candle and received their bibles from . Thank you to Reverend Lorna for the blessing & prayer, Mrs Dickin for sharing our Bishops letter and to both for presenting bibles. We said goodbye to Mr Brownless, our AC Chair & wished our longest standing childminder of 29 years a happy retirement. We are so proud of these wonderful children, we know they are ready for the next chapter in September at their new school, Branston Juniors, 💙

Blooming flowers with words of kindness…Hedgehog Class created kindness flowers and then watched them bloom. Some lovely moments of as the messages inside were revealed. A lovely mini-science session to end the school year. 🌺🌼🪻

Fox Class have been busy creating poems all about 🦁lions 🦁as their final English lesson of the school year! We love the creative use of language and the way they have created their lions manes! Well done Foxes! 💙
