🌊🦭 Year 1 had a fantastic trip to Skegness, visiting the beach and the Seal Sanctuary!
We enjoyed watching the seals being fed and learning about the important work the sanctuary does to care for them. The children were brilliant throughout the day and had a wonderful time. A big thank you to our parent volunteers for supporting the trip!

Congratulations to our KS1 and KS2 Stars of the Week! A key theme from teachers this week was consistency – consistent effort, positive behaviour and always striving to do their best. We are incredibly proud of all of our winners for setting such a fantastic example every day. ⭐

The Eco Team have had a wonderful two days at the Lincolnshire Show, presenting the pollinator garden that they helped to plan and create. They spoke confidently to members of the public who visited our stand and impressed the judges with their enthusiasm for the project. They enjoyed seeing all that the show had to offer and learning about topics such as farming, beekeeping, and much more. Well done, everyone! 🐝🌻🌱

Another outstanding year of sport as we are delighted to announce we have received GOLD School Games Mark for the fourth year in a row! This is an astonishing achievement as it shows our commitment, dedication, attitude, and effort of sporting competition and participation across our Academy and local community. A massive thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this award again, and particularly to Mr Medley who is our brilliant Sports Leader! Well done to everyone who has been involved to make this possible. We look forward to the future, as we look to carry on continuing the growth of sport and physical activity across our Academy and community.

Today Year 5 had their Viking experience day where they took part in a variety of activities: collage, artefact exploration and Viking rune stone creation. We were blown away by their costumes and the effort and enjoyment shown across the whole day. Well done, Year 5!

Our Year 5 boys recently played a football match against Swinderby All Saints Primary School. The Team Witham children demonstrated tremendous teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the match. They worked hard, supported one another and, most importantly, enjoyed the experience. Although the team narrowly lost, there were many positives to take away and valuable lessons to build on for future matches. Well done to all of the children who represented the school so brilliantly!

Champions! Our Year 6 Boys and Girls Football Team are winners of their football leagues. This is an outstanding achievement for both teams, showing incredible attitude, commitment and effort to achieve this. This is the first time that we have won a football league, so doing this twice in one season is remarkable. We are so proud of all the children who played and represented our Academy superbly. Well done!

Our Foundation Stage children had a fantastic day at Tattershall Farm! They enjoyed meeting a variety of farm animals and learning all about life on the farm through hands-on experiences. The children were a credit to the academy, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day. We are so proud of how they represented our school and all that they learned from this memorable visit.
