Hi everyone, it's that time of year when we reach out and ask for your help with developing current students' awareness of possible career paths and how best to pursue them. (Actually, it's not the usual time of year - we've brought the event forward to Term 1 - but it will remain an annual gathering).
We will be hosting an in-person Meet The Graduates evening on Tuesday 22nd November (5 to 7pm) and would love to welcome as many of you as possible, from a diverse range of sectors. If you might be interested in attending - or helping with a video profile, if you can't attend - then please follow this link:

The videos worked really well last year, both for graduates who couldn't join us but also to allow students to browse the attendees in advance.
Thanks in advance, and I hope you are all well. Please keep in touch, and do come and visit if you're ever in the Lincoln area: the University and School continue to expand and evolve!

Calling All Graduates: Meet the Students on May 10th!
A quick message to let you know that we will be hosting our annual Meet the Graduates event on May 10th, and hope to be able to involve as many of you as possible - either in-person or by way of a short video. Your experiences and advice are invaluable to our current students both in confirming plans for some and in widening the aspirations of others! More details can be found on the School blog: https://schoolofsport.blogs.lincoln.ac.uk/2022/04/04/calling-all-graduates-meet-the-students-on-may-10th/ but please also let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you!

Congratulations to Sophie Wells Mbe Dressage on another fantastic Paralympic Games, this time as a coach as well as a rider! The team's performances were especially impressive because of the inexperience of the horses, with some - including Sophie's Don Cara - never having travelled to an overseas competition before!
Great Britain victorious on Day 2 of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Para Dressage Team competition! 🇬🇧
Outstanding riding, teamwork and drive saw our athletes shine bright and rock the ring!

Calling ALL alumni! We will be holding a virtual Meet the Graduates event this year on Thursday 29th April. The provisional plan is for this to be early evening, and with a series of parallel "rooms" with graduates grouped by course and/or current field of work. We would like to demonstrate to our current students that they can have aspirations inside or outside sport/health/exercise and we would love for all of you to be involved! (One advantage of being online!) The format is likely to be similar to usual, with each graduate giving a very short introduction followed by free discussion; there is no need to prepare slides etc.
Please could you let me know a.s.a.p. if you would like to participate, or if you have any questions. If that evening doesn't work then we could perhaps record a short conversation with you.
PS. We'll start the event with a brief summary of what the School has been up to over the last year, so you can see that we have remained busy (just in slightly different ways).

A very warm welcome - or welcome back! - to all our students who are already in Lincoln or who are arriving this week. After a long period without students (or many staff) in the Human Performance Centre, we're really looking forward to teaching and research resuming.
