We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Mrs Steeple, our Head of Sport, who has been named Midlands Coach of the Year by England Hockey.
This award recognises Mrs Steepleβs exceptional contribution to hockey coaching, as well as the dedication, passion and leadership she brings to the sport. Achieving recognition at this level is a testament to her expertise and ability to inspire players to perform at their very best.
We are immensely proud of Mrs Steeple and the positive impact she has had both on and off the pitch, helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence and love of the game. This is a thoroughly deserved honour, and we are delighted to see her hard work recognised by England Hockey.
Speaking about the award, Mrs Steeple said: βI am honoured and privileged to have been recognised by my peers. This award reflects the support of the many players, coaches and colleagues I have worked with over the years, and I am grateful to be part of such a fantastic hockey community.β

πΈπ¨ Our Nursery children had a fabulous morning of art with Mrs Burch last week, joined by some of our wonderful Year 4 and 5 pupils! πΌβ¨ They explored the beautiful flowers from Mrs Burchβs garden, learning all about the different shapes, sizes, and colours before creating their own masterpieces ποΈπ·
We definitely have some budding artists among us! ππ©βπ¨π¨βπ¨ The children also loved spending time with the older pupils, making it a lovely morning of creativity and teamwork π

Year 4 set sail creatively this term β΅π€ First experiments with charcoal inspired by the beautiful style of Carol Ann Sutherland, followed by continuing their sailboat theme through collage work π¨β¨ So much imagination and texture in every piece!

Year 2 had a fantastic time taking their maths learning outdoors yesterday! πΏπ’ Our focus was unit and non-unit fractions, and the children loved the challenge of filling the netball court Dβs with as many fractions as they couldβ¦ sorry Mrs Steeple π¬π Learning + fresh air = the perfect combination!

Sleeper project coming together beautifully! πΏπͺ΅ Upper School Enrichment have been hard at work building a strong base and carefully moving the sleepers kindly donated by Miss Amber Nicholson, alongside a stunning flower donation from πΈ A fantastic team effort all round β we canβt wait to see the finished result!

Reception and Butterfly Class got creative in Forest School today, making beautiful vases from cardboard templates and decorating them with bright dandelions and natural treasures πΌπβοΈ The children loved exploring nature, getting imaginative, and creating their own colourful masterpieces outdoors πΏπ¨βοΈ

Year 3 became magical potion makers today! π§ͺβ¨ The children carefully measured their ingredients in both litres and millilitres while mixing up some truly magical creations. A fun and hands-on way to bring maths learning to life! π§ββοΈππ

Year 6 created their own interpretation of The Sun by Edvard Munch β a fabulous collaborative piece bursting with colour, creativity, and teamwork. It is proudly displayed in our hall to be enjoyed by the whole school. βοΈπ¨
