Welcome Back to Priory Witham Academy!

We are looking forward to welcoming all students back to school on Monday 7th September 2026 and beginning another exciting and successful year together.

All students are expected to arrive in good time for registration, which begins promptly at 8:40am. On arrival, students should be wearing the correct school uniform, have the appropriate equipment for learning, and be ready to make a positive start to the term.

Members of staff will be available throughout the morning to welcome students and direct them to their respective year bases, ensuring everyone settles in smoothly and confidently.

As we begin the new academic year, we are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to working together with our students, families, and wider community. We are confident that, through hard work, kindness, and determination, 2026-27 will be a fantastic year for everyone at Priory Witham Academy.

We can't wait to see you all on Monday 7th September 2026. Enjoy the rest of your summer break and we'll see you soon!

Firstly, congratulations to every student receiving their GCSE results yesterday. We know how much hard work, dedication and perseverance has gone into reaching this milestone, and you should be incredibly proud of everything you have achieved.

However, if your results are not quite what you had hoped for, please remember this: one set of results does not define your future. At Witham, we know that success comes in many different forms, and there may still be exciting opportunities available to you.

Today has been filled with smiles, celebrations and proud moments as we watched our students collect their GCSE results and celebrate the rewards of their hard work and dedication. It was especially wonderful to see so many family members and loved ones joining us to share in these achievements, offering support and celebrating every success along the way.

We would like to thank our students for being such an important part of the Witham community throughout their journey with us. We are incredibly proud of all you have achieved and the resilience, determination and character you have shown.

We are looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students tomorrow morning to collect their GCSE results.

Results will be available between 9-11am in the Primary Hall.

Our team will also be available to provide careers advice and support with Post-16 destinations if needed.

Our Sixth Form team will be in school from 9:00am on Thursday 20 August, ready to welcome and enrol students following the release of GCSE results.

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our Sixth Form students. After two years of hard work, commitment and perseverance, our Year 13 students have successfully completed their courses and are now ready to take their next exciting steps.

It was a pleasure to catch up with Nigel, who has successfully completed his T Level in Management and Administration. When Nigel began his course, he was understandably uncertain about what opportunities a relatively new qualification might offer. However, he embraced the challenge, trusted the guidance and support of staff, and dedicated himself fully to his studies. We are immensely proud that his hard work has paid off, and he is now progressing to Nottingham Trent University to study Property Development.

This morning has also been wonderful as we shared in the excitement of students receiving university places in courses including Midwifery, Social Worker, Business Management, Psychology & Counselling and Primary School Teaching. We are equally proud of those students who have secured apprenticeships and are beginning their careers through valuable workplace opportunities. It is fantastic to celebrate the success of Bailey, who has already begun his apprenticeship with Lincolnshire Co-op following an outstanding T Level industry placement with the organisation and is already making a significant impact within the Project Management department.

A special mention must also go to our Year 12 T Level students, who have completed a highly successful first year. It has been fantastic to see the progress they have made and the rewards of their hard work reflected in their results. They can look ahead to Year 13 with confidence, knowing they are in a strong position to achieve even greater success next year.

Congratulations to all of our students. Your resilience, determination and ambition continue to inspire us, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for each and every one of you.

We have kindly been donated some school shoes which will be available on a first come, first served basis. Collection will be from Primary Reception. Shoes will not be reserved and the children will need to come and try them on.

Boys sizes available: 10, 11, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 1.5, 7

Girls sizes available: 12, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6

Swap shop uniform will be ready from next Thursday.
