Last week, we were so grateful to have Allison Cargill from Sills & Betteridge and Christopher Brown, a Qualified Solicitor and owner of CB Legal Training to come speak to our Law Society members! Thank you so much for providing us with such an insightful talk and presentation which helped provide some excellent top tips for careers after our law degrees! Finally, a massive thank you to our fantastic Careers Officer, Abi, for putting on this event! It was very well organised!! 💙

On 20th March, we held our finals of the Stone Shield Mooting Competition!

We are so happy to announce that our winning team is Laura Wright and Ellie Evans!! This is such an incredible achievement and should be very proud of yourselves!

Also massive congratulations to our runners up of the competition Esme Bayliss and Phoebe Saturley!! Especially to Esme for being the best advocate of the finals! Very well done!

Thank you KCH Garden Square for once again sponsoring the Mooting Comeptition this year! This is so very appreciated and we are sure that our winners will gain invaluable experience during their mini pupillage!

Lastly, to our Mooting Officers Emma Robinson and Roxy Fierstein thank you so much for your hard work running the competition!

Last week we held our finals of our Parliamentary Debating Competition!

Massive congratulations to our winning team Luke Kinahan and Georgia Bailey!! You both did fantastic throughout the entire competition!

And very well done to our runners up of the competition Esme Bayliss and Jennifer Brunyee!! You both should be very proud of yourselves for making it to the finals of the competition!

Once again, thank you so much to BPP Law School and to Nigel Jamieson for coming to judge our finals of the competition! We really appreciate the support BPP has provided for our society!

Lastly, to our wonderful Debating Officer Laura Wright, thank you so much for running the entire competition so well!

We are so happy to announce our 2024/25 Executive Committee!! They have all been so incredibly deserving of this opportunity, so without further ado, please welcome our next year’s EXEC COMMITTEE:
