What a fantastic day our Year 4 children had at the Lincolnshire Show!

The children enjoyed learning about our rural county - exploring a wide range of exhibits, learning about farming, food production, animals, and rural life. From meeting livestock to discovering new skills and experiences, there was plenty to see and do throughout the day.

The pupils were a credit to the school, showing excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and curiosity as they engaged with all the activities on offer.

A big thank you to the organisers, staff, and volunteers who helped make the day such a memorable experience. We are sure the children will be talking about it for weeks to come! 🚜🐑🐄..... oh and the freebies were great too!

With so much history on our doorstep to explore, the Year 2's are having a wonderful time at Lincoln Castle.

Today is National Thank a Teacher Day, and I want to say a huge thank you to the incredible team at Sir Francis Hill.

Every day, our staff team go above and beyond to make our school the best it can be. I am so proud to lead such a talented and hardworking team. Sometimes working in schools can be a very challenging job!

Thank you teachers for everything you do for our children and families. You are amazing.

What an incredible Roman Experience Day our Year 3 children had! 🏛️⚔️

The pupils stepped back in time and immersed themselves in life in Roman Britain. They enjoyed re-enacting the role of gladiators, learning about Roman legions and marching like Roman soldiers. They were fascinated by the power of Roman catapults and discovered the skills needed for weaving and other everyday Roman activities.

It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that brought history to life and created lots of excitement, laughter, and memorable moments. Well done, Year 3, for your enthusiasm and excellent participation throughout the day!
