Our wonderful Mrs Evans is braving the shave! Both her mother and father in law passed away recently within weeks of each other and she wants to raise some money for MacMillan in their memory. Year 2 are learning some new sewing skills this term and have created some lovely pouches using a running stitch.

Year 4 have been exploring the work of Jeff Koons. He is a contemporary American artist who is well known for creating balloon dog sculptures from polished stainless steel. These two lovely Year 4s used all of their resilience and patience to recreate his work using balloons. They're pretty fab aren't they?!

The weather has been kind to us today and we were finally able to hold our afternoon of sport for EYFS and KS1. It was a fantastic afternoon and everyone had lots of fun! We are now in the processing of counting up all of the points to find out which house was the winner… watch this space!
