What a great day at SPARK!
Science based fun for children and grown ups alike!
Dr D's Science Days offers high quality science activities and parties for children (although grown ups may enjoy them, and learn something too!).

Fabulous feedback from my first visit as a speaker for a local group...
"Dr D had us on the edge of our seats at our September meeting. Pulling trick after trick from her rucksack, she made science fun and we learnt a lot too. It was one of the most lively and entertaining talks we have ever had and we can’t wait to have her back next summer to give a workshop so we can all have a go at some experiments." U3A programme organiser, Lincolnshire.
I often find that working with adults is much more fun than working with children!..
Had a great time showing off some of my demo's at a U3A meeting yesterday... Fun science isn't just for children!!

What a glorious morning for doing some science in the sun!.. First Dr D's school activity of 2021 about to commence! 🌞
As restrictions ease, and things begin to seem a little more normal, I'm happy to say that bookings have started to come in again!..
A school visit in June, and my first time as a guest speaker for a U3A meeting in July!
For anyone considering booking an exciting, educational, and entertaining activity for any kind of school or community group, please do get in touch!

This has been the quietest British Science Week ever for Dr. D's (as for many other science professionals and organisations), but it hasn't stopped Dr D's silent partner, Bert, from expressing his love of science!
After many months of lockdown induced hibernation for Dr D's, I finally have something to report!
I will be helping to explain the science behind supercooled water on BBC radio Lincolnshire tomorrow morning. It's quite literally VERY COOL!
BBC Radio Lincolnshire
A little poem what I wrote...
Can you spot the science key words about plant growth included in it?
I hope everyone is enjoying watching the plants and flowers growing as we move towards summer.
If you want to grow something at home, Marigolds are great, and can be grown in small pots on a windowsill.
Part 2 of my audible science experiments will be on BBC Radio Lincolnshire tomorrow at 9.20a.m.
Raid your cutlery drawer, and find some string if you want to join in!
I've just been on Radio Lincolnshire doing an audible science demo.
I'd planned to do 2 experiments, but we ran out of time, so I'll probably be back on air again in a few days for a follow up.
