University of Lincoln - International College Welcome to the International College (formerly the English Language Center). Welcome to the International College!

We support EU and international students who:
-Are studying at the University of Lincoln, (In-sessional) or
-Have an offer to study at the University of Lincoln (Pre-sessional). If English is an additional language for you then we offer in-sessional support to help you improve both your English language and study skills during your time in Lincoln. Successful academic study at university level req

uires being able to demonstrate a wide range of writing, reading and speaking skills. For international students, expectations of how to write may be very different from those of their own countries. For some students, it is about learning a new way of thinking and writing. The International College's in-sessional courses, workshops, one-to-one English language support and other services are designed to help students make this transition and acquire the academic skills they need to succeed in an academic environment in the UK. In addition to the workshops, students can also access one-to-one advice about their writing skills and areas of improvement. You can find more information about our services at lncn.ac/intcollege
