🐾 A Special Visit from Our Local Vets! 🐾
Yesterday, our Class 1 children had a truly wonderful afternoon welcoming our friendly local vets into school! 🩺🐶🐱
The children listened carefully to an engaging presentation, asked lots of thoughtful and curious questions, and even enjoyed some hands-on experiences. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and confidence grow throughout the session!
Visits like this provide such valuable learning opportunities in EYFS. The children explored how to care for animals and learned about the important role vets play in our community. They developed their communication skills by listening and asking questions, while also deepening their understanding of the world around them especially animal health, safety, and wellbeing.
Most importantly, the experience inspired kindness, empathy, and a love for animals. Real life, hands on learning like this makes such a lasting impression, and we are so grateful to our visiting vets for making the afternoon so memorable! 🌟
