Going to a school’s nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception.

You must apply on time like everyone else, and places are allocated based on published oversubscription criteria.

Schools themselves do not know if you put them first, second, or third, and don’t give priority based on preference order.

✨ 1 or less day absent per year= Attendance HERO
✅ 1 or less day absent per term = Good
📖 6-11 days absent per year = Cause for concern
🚫 More than 12 days absent per year = Serious concern

Missing just 10 days can reduce outcomes by a whole grade.
